Every build

Other platforms.

Every build of the latest version. DevCatz supports macOS (Apple silicon and Intel) and Windows; Linux is not supported.

Prefer Homebrew?

One line in Terminal brings the cat home — Apple silicon or Intel, picked for your Mac. Homebrew asks you to trust the tap the first time; after that it is just brew install --cask devcatz.

brew tap catzoidhub/catz && brew trust catzoidhub/catz && brew install --cask devcatz

Every version, one pick away.

Finally, someone herds the cats. The first public release of DevCatz — free and open source under GPL-3.0.

  • Sites — PHP, Node.js / Bun, Python and Go projects detected with their framework, each on its own https://*.localhost with a trusted certificate; monorepos and Git worktrees included.
  • Runtimes — any PHP, Node.js, Bun, Python or Go version per site, installed for you.
  • Services — MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Valkey, MongoDB, Elasticsearch; S3-compatible storage; search engines; WebSocket servers; a mail catcher; gateways; tunnels to share a site.
  • Per site — logs, .env, database links and migrations, the site's API, Git with AI-written commit messages, Docker files generated from the stack.
  • AI, optional — your own provider; off until you switch it on.
  • The family — databases open in DBCatz, sites become DialCatz environments.

Install: download below, from catzoid.com/devcatz/download, or with Homebrew: brew tap catzoidhub/catz && brew trust catzoidhub/catz && brew install --cask devcatz.

Apple silicon and Intel, macOS 13 or later; signed and notarized by Apple, and the app updates itself. Windows is on the way.
